My Story
A few years ago, I made the decision to take a different career path, one that would place me way outside my comfort zone over and over again, but also would be perfect for this time in my life. I had spent the majority of my working years in administrative positions, not exactly dream jobs, however my husband and I had built a great life with our daughter. We had a nice home, enjoyed camping, took vacations, and yes we too had our debt, but we were happy. As we were about to send our daughter off to college, I found myself unemployed for a long period of time due to a work related injury, some employer restructuring and a failing economy, talk about the worst timing. The job market was to say the least, discouraging and was slowly dwindling away any of my self-confidence, not to mention financially it wasn’t doing my family any favors either. I needed to be back amongst others, active and productive again, and although we had adjusted some financially, we needed to increase our earnings. I was done working in an office, and I wanted to take some control back. I began to consider starting my own business, I had always enjoyed home decorating, and event planning, so I was keeping that in mind. Then one day, at a home show an opportunity fell right into my lap, Scentsy!
Scentsy was going to be my path to regaining my self worth, supporting my family and fulfilling my wishes and dreams. Since then, Scentsy has continued to grow as an amazing company, they are staying true to their original line of wickless candles, and quality fragrances, while adding new and exciting trendy products to keep them moving forward. We now have Scentsy for every corner of your home, for you and your entire family, and that includes the kids. And men, many love it more than us women, they are even selling it now.
I enjoy being a Scentsy Consultant, and I’m proud to be affiliated with such an amazing company. A company that strives to bring us all the very best, treats their consultants like family, and gives so much to us, their community, and causes. And you know what, I couldn’t do any of this, nor would it be the same, without the support of my family, friends and customers, oh and just as important my peers and teammates. We all work together to help each other, share ideas, and celebrate; I’ve made some great friends, and have been inspired by the best!!! I've found it's easy to sell something you love so much, if you share it, that it's best to keep things simple, that you really do learn from your mistakes, and that I can do anything, if I set my mind to it. This business is about so much more than selling candles, yeah there's business stuff to do, but it's also about learning new things, discovering yourself, being part of a team, helping others, being able to give back, and so much more. Scentsy has changed me for the better in so many ways, it's been a blessing, and now I'm trying to spread the word, because this blessing is worth sharing, 12x over, and then some. I'll start here by sharing this amazing brand of products with you, and you family and friends.

In the beginning it was all about getting back to work, building my self-confidence and trying something new…. TODAY, I’m back to work, and I work hard, but it doesn’t seem like work, cause I love it; the products, my peers, my customers and most importantly being in control of what comes next, and what goals and dreams I want to achieve. I learn, conquer and grow each day, and with each task, I get closer and closer to those goals. I hope you’ll join me on this journey, in one-way or another, and we will make things happen.
